Coming Up Early in 2007...!

Yeah... i know its been way too much awhile since i last posted in this site, cos you see, I've been caught up with my other sites... http://kayceez.squarespace.com

But what i was also doing was to prepare an e-manual.... that's right! Something that you would wanna get your hands on.

This stuff is awesome cos I got to speaking with some friends who have been working in the line for many years now... their combined years of experience would probably come up to more than a century! You figure out for yourself if this would be definitive or not... ;-)

Well, this would be a surprise, no doubt...

I've been preparing two versions, one at no cost, just for the asking. But the one that you wanna get your hands on is THE second manual! It will give you tips on what its all about, what to expect, how to prepare yourself and etc etc... can't let out the surprise!

So if you're keen on getting your hands on a copy, email me by clicking here now and key in the subject "Request for FA Prep Manual" let me know your name and email address, and if you want a call back, your contact number as well...

Gotta get back to work now on another project!

Till I hear from you ...

Blue skies always!
ps... heard there's gonna be a surge in intake in the coming year...
so get yourself prepared and all ready for the interviews... request for the e-manuals and be one-up!

The Flight Attendant / Cabin Crew Adventure Begins...

SIA has posted in their website open interviews for flight attendants / cabin crew this 4 Nov 2006! Hmmm... I'm sure there'll be lots of young people who would be interested and keen to go and try their luck. Perhaps this may be their lucky break and they'll be shortlisted for the selection process!

Here are some tips on how you can prepare yourself to ensure you stand a higher chance of being called for the selection interviews.

You wanna make sure that your resume and the cover letter you send to the HR office is not the standard resume which template is plucked out of a typical resume. This can be done by personalising the layout and the way you craft the different sections, especially describing yourself. You must take the opportunity to sell your unique-ness as an applicant, your strengths, your experiences in providing services, your character traits describing your humility and perseverance, and how this will help you to do a much better job than the next applicant. However, gotta be careful not to oversell, nor write things that are not true!

If you have the ability to speak in languages other than English and Mandarin, you should also give special mention as to what these additional languages are, as well as how proficient you are in the language. Also, how you've made use of this language in areas other than in school, will help to increase your chances as well.

If you have been working as a service staff, you would also want to include a mention in your resume your experience, and especially of how you've contributed towards the company's image in your role as a service staff. Better still if you received awards or commendations for your great service.

Well, these are just a few tips you may want to consider as you attempt for the job. If you need more information on how to increase your chances even further, you can send me an email by clicking here. Just include your name and email address and write a short note on how I can assist, and I'll get back to you shortly. Also if you need some assistance in preparing your resume, you can also write to me.

Come back here again as I'll be sharing more tips on how to impress the selection panel.
